Our Practice Areas

Our firm handles cases in a variety of practice areas, and we understand what it takes to get you through a difficult situation. Here, we discuss the types of cases we specialize in and why an attorney will help with each of the following.

Personal Injury

If you have sustained an injury that was caused by the careless or negligent actions of another person, you should be compensated for your losses. Don’t talk to the insurance company, your first call should be to Randall, Page & Bruch, P.C. Injury victims often incur tremendous medical bills and other “hidden expenses,” including lost income, travel to and from medical appointments, medical devices, and more. Our firm handles a wide variety of personal injury cases, including:

We strive to secure maximum compensation for our clients’ medical bills, lost income, and pain and suffering damages. We take personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis, which means you pay no upfront or out-of-pocket costs for your case. You pay no legal fees until we secure the compensation you are entitled to. Personal injury cases require extensive investigation, and most injury victims do not have the resources or legal experience to take on aggressive insurance carriers or other parties on their own. Our personal injury attorneys serve injured victims in Western Tidewater and the surrounding areas, including Suffolk, Southampton County, Emporia, Brunswick County and The Eastern Shore.

Traffic Defense

Virginia traffic laws can be difficult to understand and are constantly changing, and getting charged with a traffic offense is serious. Randall, Page & Bruch, P.C. has vast experience in handling state, county, and city traffic violations. Some of the most common examples of traffic offenses we handle include:

Trust your Randall, Page & Bruch, P.C. legal team serving you with over 70 years of experience in the courtroom as traffic defense attorneys, former law enforcement officers and military legal advocates to get the results you need. We will fight to keep points off your driving record, keeping your insurance from raising your rates. Reckless driving is a Criminal Offense in Virginia and can result in up to 1 year in jail and up to a $2,500 fine.

When you hire us to handle a traffic offense, we handle the entire case. We will gather all evidence in the case and in most cases appear in court for you. Our goal is to get your charges reduced or dismissed in order to lower your fines and minimize the impact on your insurance rates. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your traffic violation after a court appearance, we can also handle appealing your case to the Circuit Court. No matter where your traffic issue is in Hampton Roads, The Eastern Shore, The Peninsula or Western Tidewater we are here for you.

Domestic/Family Law

Our firm handles a range of family law issues, beginning with divorce cases. Divorce is a stressful process, and having the right attorney by your side to guide you through the process can make a real difference. Whether you are going through a contested or uncontested divorce, you should have legal assistance. Our family law attorneys handle issues such as child custody and support, spousal support, emergency protective orders, and the division of property, assets and debt.

You do not want to go through any domestic or family law situation on your own. In these cases, emotions can cloud judgment, and it is a good idea to have a skilled family law attorney by your side. We understand these cases and want to help you get back to living your life.

DUI Defenses

The Commonwealth of Virginia takes drinking and driving very seriously, and even a first-offense DUI charge carries the possibility of 12 months in jail. A second and third offense comes with a mandatory jail sentence. And a third offense will result in a felony conviction. A DUI can also lead to license suspensions, an ignition interlock requirement, major fines, as well as a massive increase in your insurance rates (SR-22 requirements).

Our team will assist you in determining the best possible defenses available for your case if you are facing a DUI charge. We understand that you need to get back to living your life, so let us get to work on your DUI case today.

Criminal Defense

It can be scary and intimidating if you or a loved one have been charged with a crime. Our qualified and experienced criminal defense attorneys will get to work investigating every aspect of your case in order to ensure you are treated fairly and obtain the best results. We regularly help clients through a wide array of criminal charges, including the following:
