On May 12, 2016, the Southampton County Bar Association hosted a one-hour CLE put on by Lawyers Helping Lawyers. Jim Leffler, MS, LPC, Clinical Director for Lawyers Helping Lawyers, taught the course. The topic of the presentation was Compassion Fatigue: What Is It and How It May Impact Members of the Legal Community. It addressed how lawyers can deal with and overcome stress and burnout so that lawyers can provide the best possible representation for their clients. Over ten lawyers from the Southampton County Bar Association, including two from our firm, were in attendance.
